George Lucas: A Life by Brian Jay Jones

informative medium-paced

4.0

I really enjoyed and learned a lot from this. Brian Jay Jones’ writing is rly good at giving clear, interesting detail, and even tho the books are long they’re never boring imo. I liked it, but I would say you could sum it up as “George Lucas is extremely controlling artistically and difficult to work with, and it’s a miracle he’s as successful as he is as a result.” I liked that this acknowledged some of Lucas’s faults but also wasn’t aggressive and showed other sides of him too.
