It is time for the annual Frank family clambake in Cape May; everyone is turning out for the big event. Peter Frank is the beloved son and has an announcement to make at the shindig. On the guest list are some of the women in Peter's life. Maya, his girlfriend who just won Wimbledon; Catherine, his high school sweetheart and a successful wedding planner, who is still in love with him; and Leanne, his aunt and the legal guardian of his only son. These ladies have no idea what the announcement is until it is revealed that the clambake is also serving as a wedding...for Peter and a woman named Tilly. And Tilly has words for these women, words none of them want to hear. Maya and Peter are over, Peter will no longer be a business partner with Catherine, and Leanne will no longer have custody of Peter's son. These ultimatums do not go over well with any of them. So when Tilly ends up dead the following day, crushed to death by a chandelier, everyone is a suspect. Maya, Catherine, and Leanne join forces to figure out who killed Tilly to save their skins and reputations.

Rich people and a murder mystery combined to keep me guessing until the end. I loved the ladies, and their backstories (and skeletons in the closet) made for a real romp. We get each one's POV, which really adds to the story, misdirecting the reader multiple times. Great banter, over-the-top characters, and a wedding in the middle made this an enjoyable and fast-paced mystery.
