Youth Without God by Ödön von Horváth
4.0
This was a randomly picked book, that had been chosen during a dead hour at work when no one was in the store and I had to pass time somehow. I'm very happy I chose it, because this is not a book I would normally go to. The main focus of the plot seems to center around the concept of truth and honesty: Being true to yourself, your morals, verses following the rules and morals of a nation, in a sense.
It was a very quick read, and I highly recommend it! I think many people would enjoy the style of this book, even if they don't tend to normally pick classics or more philosophical-type books.
