Review:

I was really looking forward to reading about Daddy Jonathan after reading the RES books. Jonathan seemed so untouchable and honestly awful in the RES books but I really enjoyed the more human side of him you saw throughout Reign of a King. Aurora’s story had me on edge the entire time. I wanted to know all of the answers so I couldn’t put the book down. By the end of Reign of a King I needed to pick up the next book - I jumped straight into it.
