Notes on a Nervous Planet
by Matt Haig
I agree with pretty much all that Matt Haig has to say in this book. And I'm truly happy for him that he's found ways to soothe his mind and minimize the effects of his mental illness. But I did not like this book at all. It was shallow, repetitive and he tried to universalize his experiences without really considering that not all brains work like his and some people face challenges that are nothing like his own. Haig's "nervous planet" seems to consist only of successful white middle class Twitter-obsessed men living in Westernized countries and that was a huge problem for me.
