Looking to Score by Alley Ciz

5.0

This is the first book in Ciz's new series, and it is an explosive one!!!! Mason "Casanova" Nova, and Kay "PF" Dennings bring so much witt, sarcasm, and previous heartache to the table she warned us it has to be told in three books. This book focuses on building their relationship with lots of background on characters, and where they come from. Her description of the characters and scenes make the reader feel as if we are right there for every joke, volley of words, and party that all go too.

Kay is a complete anomely to Mason who usually just has to show up in the vicenity of a girl who is throwing herself at him. Kay cuts through all the BS, and forces Mason to just be himself, and he doesn't know what to do with that. She is surrounded by protective friends who would do anything to keep her safe from trouble. Kay keeps her circle small, and tight after some very difficult lessons when she was younger. She likes to keep her private life private, and Mason just doesn't know how to deal. Mason also has some difficult lessons learned from his past that creep up into the present.

Together they have to figure out how to let people in, and be open to love as well as potential heartache. This book ends on a cliffhanger and the only good thing about that is the next book will be out in October.
