At the beginning I had a hard time determining what the story was, as there were several little tidbits dropped in here and there and made the reading experience feel like putting together a puzzle. But about a third of the way through it picked up and things began slotting into place and I found it very engaging and hard to put down. This is definitely a book that will make you reflective on many things, both about your own self and the self you present and your reasons why, but also about real life events and the way that Puerto Rico is consistently left in the dark.
