I think I would realistically rate this 3.75, but I'm rounding up because I loved the MMC and his portrayal of anxiety. I felt very seen. Having a panic attack and threatening to quit your job over a cupcake? Yeah, I'd do that. His tendency to overthink, including of others' perceptions of him, was strange but I loved it. #anxiety hehehe

I think the fake dating trope is amazing BUT I did find myself getting extremely annoyed with these MCs. Like shut up... loved Jacob tho. I love u Jacob
