The Fine Print by Lauren Asher
2.0
I'm not mad about the book. it's not too bad.
it's just very so-so.
there are no plot twists; the whole thing is built on clichés.
Rowan showers Zahra with all the money and surprises, Zahra transforms from a bubbly girl on a skateboard with a bunch of pins on her backpack to this femme fatale the moment Rowan drops his pants. and at some point, I thought, if there's going to be some shopping / trying outfits scene, I'm gonna drop the book.
you can squeeze the whole book in 'they met, they fucked, they married.'
