I enjoyed this book, I found it quite refreshing being set in a small coastal town in England, i could see this being optioned for tv.
The magic system is very unique where the main characters supernatural power changes.
I loved the addition to famous works of art featuring fairly heavily.
There were some niggles were bits seemed too overly convenient. 
Im looking forward to the next instalment.
