Binge by Tyler Oakley
3.0

This book was interesting. Tyler Oakley was one of many to hop on the "youtuber book" train but I didn’t judge him as much as I judge some other youtubers who were just trying to make money. :/ (you know it’s true!)

He takes you on a bittersweet journey from a little boy in Michigan to the extravagant content creator we know today. As you continue reading, Tyler explores difficult topics like sexuality and mental health. All the while staying true to his own words.

There were a lot things I had problems with. The main being that overall the book had some major flaws with word flow. I get that it’s supposed to be from the heart and all that blah blah but when I’m reading I don’t like to be autocorrecting an authors sentences in my head as I go along.

Overall, the book has some flaws with the flow of words and other minor things. I MIGHT recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, occasionally funny (and somewhat dirty), read.

P.S. I’m not one to read books like these but I went through a phase about a week ago and got 3 memoirs soooo, yeah :)
