i liked this one! i think i just love a timeline with fate and just missing each other or lives intertwining without even knowing it. it just builds angst up to me and i love it. and i really especially loved how intertwined minnie and quinn’s was 🥺 like just so many moments where i was like…. wait…. your soulmate’s right there!!!

i think aside from the little moments of the past, their love story isn’t a main part of the book. if you want that as the main focus, you won’t find that here and may dislike the book because of it. at first (a few chapters in), i wasn’t super into it and minnie was quite the pessimist but as it went on and you get to see her grow into herself and what she wants her life to be, it’s a good read about how life can go and the different sort of outlooks you can have.

i thought quinn was gonna be this stuck up rich guy but he turned into someone that really just had a hard deal of cards and was working through it the best he can. i wanted to just hug young quinn ugh

it was slowpaced in my opinion and i know some people don’t like that but i didn’t mind it too much. i feel like that’s just how life is some times but it spanned across a year and so it was written in a slow way but time moved fast sort of? if that makes sense?

anyway i liked this one and think maybe some people may not like it for reasons i’d understand but i just love a story and i got one with this.
