This was a fun printing of Rick Steve’s travel journey from the 70s across a number of counties including Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal. It’s a sweet story, he and his friend exploring the world, and is a great description of those countries and cultures (some of which will never be explored by outsiders anymore). As expected from an early 20’s person it’s not super deep, and that’s okay! Clearly this is the origin story of him getting the travel bug, and that’s fun to read.
