WOW. WOW. WOW. This book is absolutely phenomenal. I've been sent an ARC of the story from a friend I have who works in the publishing industry, and I am not disappointed. This book is fast paced, thrilling, and wraps you up in a world long before this time. Eelyn is a character that we can all relate to. She's loyal, she's quick-witted, and the journey that she has to travel down to realize what kind of world she's living in is one people can relate to. Young does a great job of playing with the Nordic history of Vikings and their Gods, and I am not disappointed. Fans of the Vikings tv show, Wonder Woman, stories from Sarah J. Maas, Leigh Bardugo, and Victoria Aveyard will not be disappointed with this story. I wish the ending hadn't happened so fast, but it certainly left me wanting to read more from this author.
