Some Choose Darkness by Charlie Donlea
4.0

This book had the right amount of mystery, suspense, and darkness! I loved how twisty this book was. In this story the main character, Rory Moore is a forensic reconstructionist with autism (LOVE the inclusion of ASD). She is also a strong and intelligent female lead. Rory unwillingly takes over a decades old cold case of a serial killer who her lawyer father represented before he passed away.

The story is told in multiple POVs and dual timelines. You need to pay close attention to the story to ensure you do not miss any hints or missing puzzle pieces. I was able to piece together one of the plot twists halfway through the book and the execution of the big plot in the end was a bit questionable, but I still enjoyed this quick, compelling read!
