My first read of 2023 did not disappoint!!
I was so in love with this book that I continued reading the author's note and bio after the last page. I couldn't get enough.
When I first got this book I was concerned about the length. It seemed pretty hefty for a romance novel, but I didn't even notice. I flew through the pages. None of them felt like filler or dead air. I loved every moment of it.
I feel like this is the most accurate depiction of a "people pleaser" that I have ever read. I know people get annoyed with Naomi, but I saw a lot of myself (a fellow people pleaser) in the way she was written.
Will definitely be reading more of Lucy Score's work. Especially if the covers and stories are as beautiful as this one.
