Stone Cold by Robert Swindells

I read this first way back in School like every other person out there I think, although how this could be considered a Children's Book is beyond me.

Exceptionally dark and very thought provoking. Ita a short story that doesn't exactly go too much in depth, however it paints a very haunting picture of life of those not as well off as others, and at the same time an insight into a twisted mind of a psychopath.

A lot of profound messages to be considered, I found many to be against the ending of the book but the fact that life doesn't always have happy endings is actually one of the major ones. Being grateful for the blessings that one has is another that got me rather emotional reading this.

Essentially it does incorporate many good messages that every child growing up should keep with them, but when I was reading it so way back then, all of this went way over my head.

A recommended read for all in my honest opinion. Quick to read, hard to digest.
