Our House grabs you from the first sentence and doesn't let go, even after it is over. Fi, a woman whose husband cheats on her, puts aside their differences for their children. She decides to house share with her husband so that the children can remain in the same house instead of going back and forth between houses. This unusual decision is difficult as it is but imagine Fi's surprise to arrive at the house for her time with the children, only to find out it has been sold to someone else without her knowledge.
As the story unravels, you begin to understand the circumstances from 3 sides, Fi's, Bram's, and a 3rd narrative side. Just as you think you have everything figured out, another twist is revealed. The twists keep coming even at the end.
I greatly enjoyed this story. The twist at the end leaves me wanting a second book to see what happens next. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone.
