2022 reread: I'm rereading the series in anticipation of the new release and I think I liked this better this read. It really comes together brilliantly.
Original review: I liked this book, but not as much as the other books in the series. It was a little too depressing for me, but I never really like middle books, because they tend to be mostly bad stuff happening. There were still lots of reveals that were brilliant (and I caught one that my husband didn't, so I liked that a lot) and I can see why this book is important to the series.
