Borrowing Blue
by Lucy Lennox
From the moment I started the book (yesterday), I couldn't put it down. I have never read a book in an entire day, but this story kept me wanting more. Lucy Lennox did a perfect job of taking me on a journey through, love, hurt, family drama, acceptance, finding yourself, challenges, and more. Blue, a young graphic designer with a great career opportuity ahead, has to face his, who's already moved on just after their short breakup 6 months ago, during a week celebration for his sister's wedding at a beautiful vineyard. Tristian, a strong older straight divorced man, thinks he's just doing poor Blue a favor when he sees how hard it is for Blue to see his ex and his new boytoy walk in to become Blue's Knight in Shining Armour. Little does Tristian know, Blue may actually be his knight as he faces a journey of self-discovery.
The story is intense and captured my heart. I escaped into this world, this vineyard feeling the vulerability of Blue and Tristan's confidence. I cried, laughed, and the encounters between Blue and Tristan were some of the best passion. Who says you can't find love in a week. Blue's Bells are definitely ringing loud. I felt them the whole time.
