Dead to Her by Sarah Pinborough

3.0

After watching Behind Her Eyes on Netflix, I had to experience more from Sarah Pinborough! She always has the most surprising twists in her book and Dead to Her was a wild ride. The beginning part seemed to have the foundation for the typical “older man brings home a young new wife and the whole town gossips” premise. However, there is a lot more than meets the eye here! The pacing was weird though and inconsistent throughout, but it still kept me interested and trying to figure out what was actually happening. Plus the last part of the book really ramped up the suspense so it was definitely worth it. The ending is one of those that you either love or hate and I think I enjoyed it. Thank you so much to William Morrow for my gifted copy!
