One Second After by William R. Forstchen

I’m a sucker for disaster survival stories, even bad ones, so I probably enjoyed this more than I should. Three stars because the editing is awful. More than one instance of “should of done” and “it was to much”. Also because there are no women who play any important role “on screen”. I guess the love interest could be argued as having made significant contributions but it was all off screen, like the main character woke up and she had done stuff, or there was a time skip and everyone was referring to things that had already happened. Meh. Probably won’t read the sequel.
