🫠😔😮‍💨, I really didn't enjoy this. I won't lie, I started to skim read a vast majority because of all the grammar and kindle errors.

But before I get into that, I'd like to bring up my only saving grace... Rosalina was a more tolerable character, she wasn't as needy or cringe worthy.

That being said, she annoyed me how helpless she kept being throughout 🙄. Maybe I'm just used to strong female characters like Aelin Galathyneis, Jude, Bryce, Feyre, Nesta, Poppy, etc.

But, let's get into the problems...

Grammar/Kindle Errors:
- Page 21 - "Meet me in the training grounds this this afternoon."

- Page 38 - My snap to the thin thorn bracelet around my wrist, and the two matching ones around hers.

- Page 186 - "It is not so simple. Aureliawas clever."

- Page 349 - [line space], clearly not read for kindle release.

Predictable Plots:
- Page 115 - "The Bow of Radiance", obviously only Rosalina can use this weapon. And the missing queen is so clearly her mother.

-Page 149 - "My mother was a fae. Perhaps she had some connection to the Queen". At this point, it's getting ridiculous with the hints. It's like being smacked in the face. A much more subtle approach would've made the ending more shocking.

- Page 155 - "Kel had a great love, Dayton said once. And it wasn't Tilla. But who?" Oh come on, it's obviously Caspian. So, when it was revealed, I felt nothing. Just annoyance at how slow Rosalina was on finding it out.

- Page 513 - "I don't need her token, I have her blood" yeah, no sh*t Sherlock. No shock.

Character Problems:
- When did Ezryn become my least favourite by the end. His sheer blindness to his brother was so annoying and then how massively he messed up the mating bond? And for what? Why? What was the point? I didn't get it.

- When did Kel become the perfect one?

Repeats:
- Page 380 - Rosalina is sitting with Ezryn to talk about his past with his mum, didn't we just have that conversation like 50 pages ago? Didn't need it twice.

Will I be reading the next book?
I really cannot say. Depends... Might read the first 100 pages and see if they have improved in quality before I write this series off (because I definitely feel like I've committed now).
