this graphic novel had me cracking up every couple of pages. i’m in love with alastair the ratbag, i’m excited for what i think may be a love triangle, and i’m keen for the next book to see if pete & rowan hold hands . there’s twin detective witches, a short redemption arc, and a little bit of gay 🏳️🌈
the beginning is a bit clunky, it made me feel like i had picked up a book series in the middle? it all works out, though, and the pacing was perfection.
