Thwonk is a beautiful story by Joan Bauer. The main characters in this story are Peter, A.J, and Johnathon. The characters in this story are her dad, her mom, Pearly, Steilitz, Tucker, Gary, and Alconstanzo.
This story is about a girl who is sitting at lunch. Then she leaves with her friends, and hits a cupid. Then she starts to take care of it. The king of hearts dance was coming up , and she had no one to go with. So she told the cupid to shoot Peter in the heart so that he will fall deeply in love with her. The king of hearts dance was coming up and they were going out. So they went to the king of hearts dance together, and they won the crown. Then for some reason, she wanted the cupid to shoot Peter and make him not love her anymore. So after the cupid shot peter in the heart they went on with their lives.
I really liked this book. I would give this book a five out of five.
