This book… THIS BOOK!!! Omg this book encapsulates everything I’ve ever felt; not feeling Muslim enough? Check; feeling like o can’t claim my religion? Check; feeling out of place in the cultural aspect bc I cant speak or read or write in our mother tongue? Check; I relate to almost everything she feels on a whole other level and  it felt so good to have everything I felt written out and to read the words “you are Muslim enough” “you can claim your religion” it brought me to tears. I love this book so much it inspired me to get up and read my Quran.
