I enjoyed seeing how Danika is doing and how she is coping since the lost of her Breedmate, Conlan. A Taste of Midnight is fast-paced and would of been too fast if Danika and Malcolm didn't have a past.
I didn't expect there to be so much excitement and action, but only because I thought there wouldn't be enough time since it's a quick read. It's everything I expect from a Midnight Breed book.
