I can't believe my journey in Chestnut Spring came to an end. This last novel was the perfect completion of the series, with tension and struggles but such deep connection as well. Beau and Bailey - to be fair, sound good like dog names indeed - go through a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, but find each other through all of it. I liked how their issues/fights were resolved realistically, with them taking time and accepting the other's efforts to make it okay and always staying true to themselves.
Now I can finally truly recommend this whole series!!
