Although 20th in the series, this was my first "Prey" reading. My daughter reads every one in this series. I tried once and could not get beyond the first few chapters. I picked this one up as an e-book to listen to on a long road trip to give the "Prey" series another chance. At times, it seemed to drag on and on, but overall I and my husband both liked it. I liked it enough to try another in the series, maybe even number one.
