As most readers I was exposed to the anime as an edgy teen, so this story holds A LOT of nostalgia for me.
The diclonius plotline is pretty decent sci-fi. The backstory and Evil Plot (tm) that’s starting to unravel is pretty interesting, but almost everything else is a hot mess. I had gaslit myself into believing my 14 yo self had made it up, so I’m glad to see Yuka is still fucking annoying. Very reassuring.
Anyway, what’s with the (possible spoilers?) constant SA, undressed children (almost all girls are very much minors) and girls peeing themselves? Especially the pee-thing. Does the mangaka have a badly veiled fetish or something?
From a environmental standpoint: Dear Yuka, washingmachines exist. Please invest in one so you don’t have to throw away your underwear whenever you get aroused. Sincerely, wtf?
