As a non/very casual gamer, I’m surprised to experience a book ALL ABOUT video games to intrigue and move me this much. I loved the characters and I loved the book’s coming-of-age-ness. Sadie, Sam, and Marx’s story has made me think a lot about friendship, collaboration, and the indescribable love you can feel towards a person you work with or can be called a teammate. Life demands you go through it with a teammate, a partner, a lifelong friend who knows you inside and out and loves you in the good and bad. Please read this book! Will be thinking about it for weeks. 🥹
