Horror is my favorite genre so when I found out THE Adrienne King (Friday the 13th, 1980) was narrating the audiobook I had to check this one out. Adrienne did an amazing job and I can only hope that she narrates more books in the future. Now, besides Adrienne being the best part of this reading experience, this book is basically Scream 4 with a few little tweaks.
The book is also too fucking long and it drags so much at times that I wanted to fast forward, but Adrienne was so good I couldn't get myself to do it. As much as I appreciated the horror film homages sprinkled a little too heavily throughout this story, it was just an okay read. I am however looking forward to it being adapted into a movie, which I hear is already happening.
If you've been looking forward to this one, I'd say listen to the audiobook, you'll thank me later.
