At Certain Points We Touch by Lauren John Joseph

5.0

I do believe that this book changed me. It was so raw and beautifully written. It showed me a portrayal of queerness that was real and messy; a necessary portrayal in my opinion. Lauren John Joseph is not afraid to test the limits of what is deemed appropriate and the erotic, passion nature of this book was very appealing. The conflict JJ experiences between desire and repulsion all looked at through the rose colored glasses of grief was painful and honest. The cycle of toxicity and the desperate nature of humanity to feel something all combine to create a novel of high impact. Lauren John Joseph is an author to watch as we see what they are capable of next.
