Defending Chloe by Susan Stoker

3.0

I thought this book was much better than the first book. The narration was better as well.

Ro and Chloe had good chemistry. At first, I was surprised that Chloe was so cowed by her brother, but after enduring years of psychological and physical violence along with other traumas, it became much more understandable.

There was some action, suspense, and plenty if danger. Where suspicious events occurred, the person responsible was obvious.

I did fast forward through some of the book because it seemed very repetitive. I did like one of the last chapters with Chloe and her brother.
