Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I want to start by saying I do like this book. BUT - Slaughter really messed up the timeliness between Pieces of Her and Girl, Forgotten.

1) If Nick/Clayton meets Jane/Laura in 1980, he is 20 and she is 17 in California how can he also be an 18 year old high school student in Delaware??
2) If Andrea is born in Jan 1987, she is 31 in Pieces of Her. In Girl, Forgotten she is 33, so 2 years have passed. If the first book is 2018, then this book would be 2020...BUT, if Judith was born in 1982 and they say she's 40, wouldn't it be 2022? Which is to say Andy would be 35 not 33?
3) Also, if Judith is born in 1982 and Andy in 1987, they are 5 years apart not 7, as it says specifically on page 50.
4) Girl, Forgotten says Laura meets Clay as Nick in 1985. In Pieces of Her its 1980.

Essentially, this kind of lack of attention to detail drives me BATTY! I like the book, the writing, the characters, just - Slaughter - get your poop in a group if you write another installment. This is a mess.
