Such a surprisingly good book! I’m not really one who reaches for the historical fiction, but this book has changed that. I thought because there were 5+ povs, it was going to be really hard to follow, but the story flowed really nicely. Definitely recommend to any fans of Normal People and also gave me the same feeling of The Summer I Turned Pretty, in a more grown-up, World War II way.
