A Bad Day for Sunshine was such a fun book to dive into. In it, you will meet Sunshine.
Not going to lie. Once I heard the name Sunshine.. I immediately thought of the guy in Remember the Titans. So, yeah, I kept saying.. sunshineeee. Sunshineeeeee. SUNSHINEEEEE. Until I realized how annoying I was being to myself and decided to go back to the book.
Now she isn't a football player, sad face, but she is a sheriff. Newly elected and back in the place she grew up. Yikes! If she thought things were going to be super easy on her first day then she most definitely would have been completely wrong. Mostly because things go downhill pretty quickly.
Kids are missing and secrets are also coming out to play. All I'm going to say is that it was just all so much fun to listen to. I never found myself bored because so many things were actually going on. I also really liked her relationship with her mom and daughter. They just also made me laugh - no matter what.
In the end, I'm so freaking excited to dive into the sequel! I can't wait for the next mystery to be solved.
