The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

3.0

The only good thing about this book is the writing. That’s how I got to the end. Loved all the magical descriptions of the circus which made it very immersive and realistic (well, as realistic as magic could get) but the goddamn fillers made the book feel a lot longer than 400 pages.

I really loved the setting and I could read about the different tents all day. I’d give anything to visit the circus. This book nailed the mysterious vibe of the circus. The side characters like Bailey, Widget and Poppet were more interesting than the main protagonists. The romance and the plot could’ve been way better.
