Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.

This was a painful read for something that was published in 2023 and is woefully detached from humanity and reality. If the author wanted a vehicle to have their poetry viewed by more people, they should not have positioned it in a “self-help” kind of book that advocates for a creative lifestyle only accessible to those drowning in privilege. I found myself really angered by this person and their audacity, especially after researching the author’s history. I wish for a resource about a creative practice that steps away from idealism and is centered in something realistic.
