Are you really delusional or a genius? A question Spensa must face, yet doesn’t the entire book. While trying to clear her name and become a pilot to defeat the generational enemies she simultaneously fights those who have the power to make or break her future. With strong values and opinions, we see whether her stubbornness and naivety will be assets rather than weaknesses like everyone thinks of her. Because the answer to the first question is neither, she is just herself. And that is what makes her truly a great character. 

 

 

I absolutely loved this. The humor alone could carry this book pretty far. The plot is fascinating and a real page-turner.
