You need a bit of an economic background to understand this book. It’s not an introduction to the topic that’s for sure. It is very information heavy and reads mostly like a textbook with a few personal stories sprinkled throughout the book. It was painful to finish but I’m glad I did. The last chapter wraps it all up nicely in reference to the COVID pandemic. If you choose to read this book, prepare to have to force yourself through it.
