by Louise Penny
emotional
mysterious
reflective
medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven:
Character
Strong character development:
Yes
Loveable characters:
Yes
Diverse cast of characters:
Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus:
Complicated
The ending hit me hard and I'll be recovering from it for awhile.
While there's no crime to start us in this book, there's still a lot going with the characters. This is one of the few books in the series that were more of an exploration of the characters and less of a mystery. It still has the charm that Louise Penny manages to incorporate in each of her novels.
