This seemed like a uniquely curious story, and then it became an erotic fever dream and I thought for sure I’m far into the story and can last until it ends - only to discover I was only 31% done. I kept going and eventually quit at 40%. It wandered around and seemed to lose its focus too often. I didn’t care what happened next anymore.
