This was JUST what I wanted for a spooky season read. It’s felt fall cozy, the location and atmosphere were pitch perfect.
It was a haunted house, with a ghost story and haunted shenanigans - but not scary. Like - I can see how the characters would be scared, but I wasn’t scared.
Alice and her hot vampire were definitely hot together. Once she got over herself, glad that they joined forces and recognized the potential HEA they could have.
This was just the right touch for the developing romance and sexy times. Just enough to be interesting, but not tooo much to sacrifice the storytelling.
And, it’s not an overly long drawn out book either. Just the right length, concise in its storytelling.
