Did not finish book.
DNF at 40%. Nothing that happened made sense. Lowkey the fight was unrealistic and dumb in my opinion; whole book perpetuates the stereotype that all teenagers have the emotional and typical intelligence of stones which was just insulting.
I couldn’t see anything that happened thus far happening to a real person. Couldn’t see myself fighting with friends and landing myself alone in a city like a fool for the reason in the story (over a birthday like come ON). I’ll probably give this another shot later. Just didn’t have the patience or the mental fortitude ig.
