5.0

**I received a copy of The Honeymoon Trap from Entangled Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

The Honeymoon Trap by Christina Hovland really was a great book and I enjoyed it a lot. This is the first time I've read the author and I'll be sure to check out her next book and I've give the book 4.5 stars.

Lucy Campbell has come to Confluence to take a new job at KDVX as a producer but she didn't know that an old crush William Covington would be the manager of the station. She knew him in Florida when her summer internship was on a reality show he appeared on. But now she's slimmed down and eager to prove her worth at her new job. Will he remember her? When an opportunity to pose as a honeymoon couple at a resort with a theft problem, William asked Lucy to be his "bride".

William Covington is currently fighting to convince his father that he can run the station and the other that his late mother's family have left to him. His vision of improving the station have met a brick wall even though he's more than ready to take over the reins of their business. But first he needs a place to live and there's a apartment next to Lucy, will he be able to keep away from her? Even when they are posing as a couple for a story? I'll let you guess the outcome of that.

Throw in a interesting landlady, Dixie, the police Chief who is her nephew and has a son who's being bullied, and did I mention the bedraggled cat who shows up after her owner passes away. The entire story has wonderful characters and a second chance at love story to entertain you.
