Drop Dead Healthy: One Man's Humble Quest for Bodily Perfection by A.J. Jacobs

3.0

Jacobs takes what would be a dry and scientific lingo-laden topic and makes it human and funny. He submits himself to all manner of experiments in the name of "health." This covers not just the obvious nutrition and sports but also noise, stress, and skin care. The book ends with a nice summary of his results. I only gave it 3 stars as he doesn't provide much depth. But the book's entire angle is not about depth. It is meant to cover much ground but with very little depth. Still, I would have preferred fewer topics but with more depth.
