There definitely were fascinating points worth sharing aloud. However, what bothered me about this book is that it was deceptively advertised. The emphasis was not at ALL on the Book of Mormon's possible influence on Abraham Lincoln. (That whole "mystery" was discussed in about 5 pages.) The entire book was about the Civil War; more specifically it discussed how the Civil War was God's way of punishing America for slavery.

If you're into history books I recommend cracking this open, but if you're like me and can get bored easily with redundant facts and details about characters and events in history, maybe skip it.
