Unholy Blood by Jeonghyeon Kim, Lina Im

4.0

Fantasy, action, and romance.... and the art is BEAUTIFUL.

Hayan was orphaned early in her life and was taken in by Father Michael. She has no memory of how she was found alone and bloody on the streets, but she strives to repay Father Michael's kindness every day by studying hard now that she's finally in college and by taking care of the younger orphans who were taken in by the Father.

However, there is a scourge taking over Korea. Citizens can do little about the vampires who stalk the streets, murdering at will and draining normal people of their blood. Fear is everywhere, creeping into classrooms and after-school club gatherings. The public demands that the government protect them, even going so far as to form grassroots organizations to combat the monsters themselves.

But Hayan's college friends have no idea that there is a vampire in their midst. When the vampires take something precious from her, Hayan vows vengeance by restoring peace in the world - by eradicating all vampires.
