Flyy Girl by Omar Tyree

5.0

This book really resonated with me when I read it back in my teen years. I really connected with Tracey and remember the days of wanting to be "fly". I was boy crazy and ready to take the world by storm. I had my own run-ins with Bruce's and Victor's and was really able to relate to the story.

That was back in 1997 and I'm not sure how I would react to this book now. I have an ( my first autographed book) copy ( my fourth one to be exact, this book also taught be the truth about lending books to "friends", another copy just fell apart) but part of me likes the idea of enjoying this book for what it meant to me then. Even thinking about it I Can see the immaturity in Tracey Maybe one day i'll re-read it again. I just hope it doesn't make me cringe like my pictures from that time period do :)
